CCP Games is looking for a Blockchain Engineer!

You will be working on Project Awakening, a recently announced AAA title utilizing blockchain technology, set within the EVE universe.

The position is based in Reykjavík.

Your tasks:

• Collaborating with a team of skilled and passionate professionals to co-create a game world
• Game systems development, using Solidity and MUD 2.0
• Backend blockchain development, using TypeScript, Node, and Go
• Evaluating and integrating open-source third-party web3 / blockchain components into a cohesive solution, such as indexers, explorers, rollups, wallets, authentication systems, account abstractions, and gas relay networks
• Contributing to open-source projects
• Writing maintainable, well tested, well documented open-source code

Your profile:

• Relevant university degree, such as a B.Sc. in Computer Science
• 3+ years of professional experience as a software developer, including Solidity, TypeScript and Node
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Fluency in English, as a native speaker or second language
• Enthusiastic about technology, good products, and gaming
