About Inworld

At Inworld, we believe the processes of building, scaling, and evolving applications are monsters that consume value before it can reach users. Our mission is to solve evolution and transform static software into AI systems that autonomously evolve to better serve their users. We are building an intelligent runtime to conquer these monsters and make this vision a reality.

We are backed by investors such as Lightspeed, Section 32, Kleiner Perkins, Microsoft’s M12 venture fund, BITKRAFT, Founders Fund, and First Spark Ventures. Our technology is used by category leaders, including NVIDIA, Microsoft Xbox, Niantic, Wishroll, Little Umbrella and Streamlabs, among many others. Inworld has been recognized by CB Insights as one of the 100 most promising AI companies globally and has been named one of LinkedIn's Top 10 Startups in the USA

Your Impact

We are looking for a former founder to join as a BizOps Lead and partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on various strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has previously built and scaled something from scratch, ideally as a founder or an early hire at a startup, and will be responsible for end-to-end execution of projects across the entire business – from operations and finance, to people, hiring, sales, marketing, investor relations and more. The BizOps Lead will be the glue that unites cross-functional efforts and drives operational excellence, and be well-positioned to move into senior leadership or own new lines of business as we grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution: Oversee complex, cross-team initiatives, such as new market entry or product launches, to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and milestones are met.

  • Finance: Partner with the Finance team to create financial models, budgets and forecasts, as well as report on KPIs and success metrics.

  • People: Help sustain a strong company culture by refining existing processes and implementing new initiatives alongside the People team.

  • GTM: Assist the GTM team in developing monetization strategies and optimizing pricing, as well as implementing new GTM strategies, tools and automation.

  • Strategy: Analyze industry trends, market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and guide company strategy.

  • Analysis: Build dashboards and frameworks to inform prioritization and improve our efficiency across teams.

  • Investors: Contribute to board/investor communications and activities, including developing board meeting decks, presentations, and addressing other related needs.

  • Special Projects: Tackle other ad hoc projects and free up functional leaders to focus on execution within their domains.

Requirements:

  • Previously built and scaled a company, ideally as a founder or an early hire.

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM, business, or related discipline.

  • Desire to be involved in every aspect of the business with no task too small.

  • Ability to operate independently and thrive in ambiguous situations.

  • Great communication skills and experience working cross functionally.

  • Extremely detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Wizard in PowerPoint/Slides and Excel/Sheets; enjoys building slide decks and models.

Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site at our Mountain View office a few days a week).
