Redemption Games, Inc. was started in the Summer of 2015 by Michael Witz and Dan Lin, two friends who have a long history of starting companies and building products that millions of people love. With previous investments from Scopely and Supercell, in early 2020, we found our true love and joined the AppLovin family, (NASDAQ:APP). Read more about our partnership here: https://www.applovin.com/blog/applovin-welcomes-redemption-games/ As veterans of the gaming industry and with extensive experience in the business side of the gaming industry, we are so grateful, fortunate and appreciative to find ourselves in a very unique position. We are able to operate and cultivate a small studio culture that makes building games fun, with the support and resourcing from one of the world’s largest game companies, AppLovin. We can have our cake and eat it, too. The mobile games business has become one of the most competitive industries in the world. There are hundreds of thousands of games in the app store and the ability to rise to the top requires a unique combination of skill and effort, from game design, to marketing to live ops services. There are no silver bullets and no shortcuts. Over the last several years in the trenches of game development, we’ve evolved our own unique approach to building games that we are excited to unleash. First and foremost, our “playbook for making games” starts with bringing together the right people. We are strategically growing our team to help us build the next exceptional mobile game in the free to play market. If you’d like to join a small, elite and highly skilled group of developers creating an outstanding new mobile game, with the culture and personal vibe of a small studio, (cool people, no politics, no drama, no bs, no managers, complete autonomy over where, how and what you do) but the massive resources of a big company (salary, stock options, matching 401k, and fully compensated health benefits), we’d love to meet you!
