Job Overview: The Manager of Accounting and Finance will oversee the financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute individually while building a team of finance professionals as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities of the company and its subsidiaries.

  • Manage and oversee the organization's cash flow and financial transactions to ensure the company's financial goals are met

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.

• Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare financial models, profitability analysis, and ROI calculations for new projects and investments.

• Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Assist the operations team with regulatory compliance for financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.

  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

• Strategic Planning:

  • Partner with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
