At Pixelberry Studios, we're looking for an entrepreneurial Associate Technical Product Manager to help accelerate the charge of our highly-rated interactive fiction game. Your role will be crucial in turning team and business needs into product requirements and addressing them with appropriate technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with content, product and data teams to develop, refine and execute the data and LiveOps roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards by synthesizing analytical data to provide clear insights to stakeholders.

• Help democratize data through BI tools to empower the team to access data on their own.

• Support the game development and feature lifecycle from initial concept to deployment with continuous enhancement, ensuring game features and improvements are delivered on time, within scope and exceeding expectations.

• Navigate evolving needs and requirements and prioritize among multiple possible initiatives, keeping the team focused on delivering maximum value.

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to surface problems and opportunities, ensure smooth development processes, and address any roadblocks swiftly.

• Craft detailed, actionable requirements, user stories, and UI wireframes that guide the creation of technical specifications and architecture.

• Work alongside engineering teams to set timelines, define product milestones, and ensure timely delivery of product objectives.

• Demonstrate an ownership mindset and push through challenges to deliver results.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the gaming industry.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features to improve player experience.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in technical product management or a similar role for a technically demanding field within the tech or gaming industry.

• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams, juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to deconstruct complex issues and identify innovative solutions.

• Solid technical foundation with an understanding of software development processes and lifecycles.

• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Prior experience in the gaming industry, particularly in handling gaming data analytics.

• Proficiency in Python, R, or other scripting languages commonly used in data science.

• Exposure to AI-related products and projects that overlap with the games industry.
