About StockGro

Founded in January 2020 by former venture capitalist Ajay Lakhotia, we’re well-funded and just closed a massive Pre-Series A fundraise. We are backed by some of the respected investors - Roots Ventures, Velo Partners, Creed Capital, and the likes of Kunal Shah, Vivekananda Hallekere, Rahul Garg as Angels.

We have some brilliant minds with us, working on a mission to make 400 million Indian millennials investment-ready, with Senior Executives from Sequoia, Swiggy, Glance, Airtel, Uber, and institutions like ISB, NITs, and IIMs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on various financial topics, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other investment vehicles.
• Produce high-quality research, articles, video scripts, and other finance-related content for StockGro’s blog, social media, and digital interventions on investments, trading, finance, and markets.
• Collaborate with other members to ensure that content is optimised for SEO and aligned with overall marketing objectives.
• Analyse financial data and help produce snackable pieces of content for the brand
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate, relevant, and timely content.
• Stay up-to-date with financial news and market trends to ensure that content is timely and relevant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field or equivalent years of experience in a finance role
• 1+ years of experience in financial writing and research.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
• Strong research skills and experience with financial databases and other research tools.
• Passion for finance and investing, with a solid understanding of financial concepts and terminology.
• Familiarity with financial markets, including stocks, bonds, commodities, currencies, etc.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while also being able to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices is a plus.
