About StockGro

Founded in January 2020 by former venture capitalist Ajay Lakhotia, we’re well-funded. We are backed by some of the respected investors – General Catalyst, BITKRAFT, Roots Ventures, and the likes of Kunal Shah, Vivekananda Hallekere, Rahul Garg as Angels. The Opportunity:

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development of our Android app, building experiences that make deep financial research accessible and actionable for every investor.
• Architect and ship features that turn complex financial data into clear, actionable experiences for retail investors.
• Set coding standards and own technical decisions that keep the app performant, reliable, and scalable as we expand into new product verticals.
• Work closely with AI, data, and product teams to bring intelligent, research-backed features to life on mobile.
• Bring fresh perspectives to how retail investors discover, understand, and act on financial information.

What We're Seeking:

• Proven expertise of 7+ years in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and modern app development frameworks.
• Experience building data-rich, real-time features - ideally in fintech or advisory products.
• Leadership skills and the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
• Bonus points for prior work on recommendation engines, personalization, or financial advisory tools!
