We're looking for an experienced 3D Environment Artist to join us to work on our latest development, Tatsumeeko, a Fantasy Life-simulator RPG that blends social immersion with classic RPG elements, set in the expansive world of Ielia. We're breaking new ground by making Tatsumeeko accessible on both Discord and mobile platforms, merging social interaction with combat and adventure. Job Responsibilities
- Model and texture low-poly engine-ready environment assets under AD supervision.
- Create ENV-ready 3D assets to be integrated into the game.
- Assist with rendering and integration of 3D assets into the proprietary engine.
- Help to set look development benchmarks and create 2.5D environment sets while working closely to game design requirements.
- Deliver artistic/creative goals while adhering to production, gameplay, and performance requirements.
- Evaluate and check models from outsourced and junior artists that are supporting production.
- Create and maintain documentation for 3D workflow and production pipelines.
You will be a good fit if you have the following:
- Understanding of 2D art mediums like pixel art, and how to evaluate and break down concept art.
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Maya/Max or Blender.
- In-depth understanding of Unity.
- Experience with hand-painted texture workflow
- Are organised and efficient, able to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is a must as it is the primary business language.
