About the Role 💡
We’re looking for an exceptional Product Manager in Monetization to define, build, and scale revenue-driving experiences across Voicemod’s growing ecosystem: our desktop application, our mobile app, and our console hardware.
This is a team lead role within a small, highly autonomous Monetization team, where you will operate as the company’s reference and expert in monetization strategy and execution. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and act as a key voice in shaping cross-company product and business decisions.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers across all product lines, who act as the primary interface for integrating and deploying monetization initiatives within their respective surfaces. As the central monetization lead, you will guide these PMs, bringing alignment, clarity, and strategic direction to how monetization is implemented across the Voicemod ecosystem.
Additionally, you will work deeply with Data, Finance, Legal, Growth Marketing, Engineering, Design, and Research to craft monetization that is engaging, ethical, user-centric, and impactful. As Voicemod evolves into a multi-platform ecosystem, you will help create a unified and scalable monetization model that strengthens the entire product family.
What You’ll Do 🎯
Own Conversion & Lifetime Value Growth
You’ll be responsible for improving conversion, ARPU and LTV across Voicemod’s ecosystem, ensuring monetization strengthens (not harms) the free-to-play experience.
You’ll define where and how users discover premium value, and evolve the upgrade journey so it feels contextual, natural and user-first.
Define and Lead Voicemod’s Monetization Strategy
You’ll own Voicemod’s monetization strategy across desktop, mobile and hardware, ensuring pricing, packaging and premium entitlements remain consistent across platforms and geographies.
This includes evolving our business models across subscriptions, IAP, bundles, seasonal offerings and platform-specific monetization opportunities.
Build a Data-Informed Monetization Engine
You’ll partner with Data Science and Product Analytics to build a high-velocity experimentation and measurement engine.
You’ll use behavioral insights and user segmentation to uncover key monetization moments, especially across desktop ↔ mobile ↔ hardware transitions, and translate them into scalable product growth opportunities.
Deliver a Unified Premium Experience Cross-Platform
You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product and Design to ensure a seamless premium experience regardless of where a user purchases—unlocking the right content, ownership and entitlements across devices with minimal friction.
Expand into New Revenue Opportunities
You’ll evaluate and prototype new revenue streams such as:
Ad-supported user flows (aligned with UX and platform constraints)
Creator / marketplace monetization
Content & UGC-driven models
Software + hardware bundle strategies
Your focus will be on sustainable innovation that fits Voicemod’s audience and product strengths in audio, gaming and entertainment.
Lead and Scale the Monetization Function
You’ll lead a small, high-impact Monetization team and act as Voicemod’s internal authority on monetization.
You’ll influence roadmap decisions across product areas, align stakeholders, and provide frameworks that enable PMs across teams to ship monetization initiatives effectively.
Own the Monetization Roadmap and Execution
You’ll define priorities based on impact and feasibility, align milestones across teams, and drive monetization initiatives from strategy to launch—ensuring execution is measurable, iterative, and focused on long-term retention as a guardrail.
What You’ll Need ✅
4–6+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in growth or monetization roles.
Proven experience in monetization for videogames or game-like ecosystems — including free-to-play, content economies, IAPs, or progression systems.
Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally leading small teams or driving company-wide initiatives through influence.
Proven ability to operate with high autonomy, set direction, and drive strategic priorities independently.
Strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as Looker or Amplitude (SQL is a plus).
A track record of improving conversion and revenue through product-led initiatives.
Ability to articulate customer value clearly and prioritize based on user + business impact.
Passion for entertainment, gaming, audio, or creative tools.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Bonus Points 🦄
Background in video game monetization design, live-ops, or game economy optimization.
Experience in gaming, entertainment, or creator-centric ecosystems.
Experience with monetization for cross-platform products (desktop + mobile).
Familiarity with hardware monetization or platform ecosystems (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch).
