About the role 💡
Voicemod is looking for a Head of User Acquisition to own and drive top-of-the-funnel user acquisition performance across marketing-led channels.
This is a senior management role with clear accountability for acquisition outcomes, budget management, and team leadership. The Head of User Acquisition translates company and marketing strategy into clear acquisition plans, targets, forecasts, and measurable results, ensuring sustainable and scalable growth.
This role is accountable for acquisition performance, not for the full growth funnel. You will collaborate closely with Product, Growth, and Data teams, but product-led growth, retention, and monetization ownership sit outside this role.
What you'll do 💼
User acquisition ownership
Be accountable for user acquisition targets per channel, including forecasting, performance reviews, and reporting.

Own acquisition results across the following surfaces:
Paid Acquisition (search, social, video, emerging platforms)
Organic Acquisition (SEO, ASO, LLMs and platform visibility)
Owned social channels (YouTube, TikTok, and future platforms) as intent-driven acquisition surfaces
Influencers, creators, and affiliate programs
Partnerships and distribution-led acquisition, in collaboration with the Partnerships team
Ensure each channel has clear goals, ownership, and performance expectations.
Strategy to execution planning
Translate company and marketing strategy into clear acquisition plans by channel, defining priorities, targets, expected impact, and trade-offs.
Define short- and mid-term acquisition plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
Establish and maintain forecasting models to support planning and investment decisions.
Performance & accountability
Define and own acquisition KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadence, ensuring visibility by channel, geography, and cohort.
Review performance regularly, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions when results deviate from targets.
Drive a culture of continuous experimentation and optimization, focused on scale, efficiency, and long-term impact.
Budget accountability
Manage the User Acquisition budget, including allocation, optimization, and efficiency across channels.

Own the budget directly, or
Recommend budget allocation and changes for approval.
Ensure spend is aligned with business priorities and sustainable growth.
Team leadership & scaling
Lead and develop a User Acquisition team, expected to start with ~2-3 direct reports and evolve as the function scales.
Establish clear ownership, roles, and operating rhythms across acquisition channels.
Create structure and focus, enabling teams and senior individual contributors to perform at their best.
Cross-functional collaboration

Partner closely with:
VP of Marketing to align acquisition execution with overall marketing strategy.
Product and Growth teams to coordinate on product-led acquisition surfaces (without owning PLG performance).
Data teams to ensure robust attribution, experimentation, and decision-making.
Work alongside senior individual contributors with cross-funnel impact, ensuring clarity on scope, expectations, and accountability.
What you'll need ✅
5+ years of experience in user acquisition, growth, or performance marketing roles within B2C software products.
Proven experience scaling consumer-facing products with millions of users, ideally in desktop and/or mobile environments.
Strong hands-on background on B2C acquisition targets and budgets, with accountability for volume and efficiency. Demonstrated ownership of user acquisition targets, including volume, efficiency, and forecasting.
Experience managing or influencing acquisition budgets, with a strong focus on ROI and sustainable growth.
Ability to operate at senior manager level: translating strategy into execution plans, priorities, and trade-offs.
Experience leading and scaling teams, setting clear goals, accountability, and operating rhythms.
Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with data, attribution models, and experimentation frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Fluent English (B2 or higher) written and spoken.
Based in Europe (remote-friendly).

Strong understanding of YouTube and TikTok as discovery and search platforms, beyond traditional social media usage.
Experience scaling acquisition across multiple markets or regions.
Background working with freemium or self-serve business models.
Previous experience collaborating closely with product teams on product-led acquisition surfaces.
Experience joining a company during a scaling phase, where processes, structure, or teams needed to be built or reorganized.
